Take a day trip to the nearby West Coast. Fresh crayfish, mussels and fish awaits you with the backdrop of crashing waves and a sea breeze.
Reflect on earth’s past and visit the glacier tracks close to town.
Come relax and play a game of "Boule" on our newly built playing court under the olive trees while you wait for the coals of the braai fire....its a fun game for young and old to enjoy!
There are numerous tracks to explore on mountain bikes in town and the surrounding farmlands.
Oorlogskloof hiking trail just outside of town brings you in close contact with fynbos vegetation and sandstone geology.
During spring the region is transformed into a wonderland of colourful veld-flowers. Explore one of the natural wonders of earth and be mesmerized by the beauty of creation.
Our large ”sit around” braai area outside is where delicious braai food and “potjiekos” can be prepared while starring into the flames of a wood fire and listening to the crickets and farm animals.
Take a wine tour to the nearby vineyards and sample the delicious wine of the beautiful Vredendal wine area.
Observe the last rays of sunset from the plato overlooking the vast “Knersvlakte” as the sun dips below the West Coast.
