About..."Die - Wit - Huis"
The “The White House” is an old country house built from sandstone building blocks with oregon pine floors and high wooden beam ceilings. It was recently renovated, preserving this old world charm but with modern amenities like en-suite bathrooms, a large country kitchen and lounge with fire places. The interior of the house is a splash of colour imitating the wonderful display of flowers during the flowering season.
Nieuwoudtville is world renowned for the magical display of “veld flowers” during spring, drawing visitors from around the globe.
The shady green garden and adjacent authentic swimming dam with a large wooden deck and deck chairs create an oasis to visit during the summer months. Braai at the large outside fire pit underneath an old pepper tree.
Spend time relaxing in front of the fireplaces in the expansive lounge and kitchen with a book during the winter months.
The house and garden area are “pet friendly” and enclosed. So feel free to bring your furry friends along for the visit and let them enjoy the space and freedom of “Die Wit Huis” and country life. Please inform us if you are going to do so, so that the chickens can be kept in their coup.
In short…” Die – Wit – Huis” is a place to get away from it all and enjoy country living and it’s a place for all seasons.
The estate is also the home of beautiful stud farm animals. Visit the magnificent White Brahman cattle and purebred Arabian show horses. Enjoy the playful white Savanna stud goats. White Plymouth rock show chickens and fantail doves round off the country living experience.
